The Kinney Shoe building was built by Sproles Construction Company in 1950. The block of buildings was collectively referred to as the McCrory building even though it really was 3 different buildings/shops (Kinney Shoe, Diana Shop, and McCrory’s Drug Store). In 2015, through extensive renovations of the building, Urban Synergy created a new Urban-Style wine bar and fine-spirits distillery.
